Random pages from my sketchbook
I use Inkscape, Darktable, FireAlpaca and a little bit of Tayasui Sketches for all my scribblings and doodles.
But recently I've gone back to the sketchbook days. Liked it.
The sketches uploaded here are done with Tombow, Artine, Staedtler Mars Lumograph, Lyra Graphite and Sakura Roll White.
| Eye with reflection
Drawn looking an original with Artine pen, Staedtler Mars Lumograph, Lyra Graphite and Sakura Roll White
| Two Eyes Comparison
Drawn from an original by someone else. The left done is 20min. The right took 90 minutes (drawn first)
| Foot Study
Learning to draw foot postures
| Sergio Aragonés
He's my favorite caricaturist. Tried to draw his caricature and simplify it progressively in top to bottom versions.
Also the upside down version to practice the bias elimination (thanks to Betty Edwards for the technique )
| Sergio-Aragonés cartoons
I liked the simplicity of his sketches
| Surprise with a twist
Trying my newly bought Tombo ABT pens
| Selfie during the pandemic
