Shot at the home garden!

Called yellow waterlily, Mexican waterlily or banana waterlily.

This aquatic plant (Nymphaea mexicana) is native to the Southern United States and Mexico as far south as Michoacán. Looks like this is introduced in the country as an exotic ornamental plant.

I bought the stem from a local nursery, a few months back...had to wait all these days to see it it's the traditional purple lily or the yellow one!
