Ravana's encounter at Mount Kailas is a very popular iconography theme.
Note the veena made of one of his heads. Shiva's leg reaches his head. Parvathi's doesn't.
Shiva and Parvati are depicted seated on Mount Kailash in the upper portion, while a furious Ravana tries to lift the mountain.
I've seen the artistic expression of this theme from elephanta to ellora to Belur to Maidrai to many more....
